So, I saw, yet again, one of those 'pink salt trick' videos. You know, looks like someone is mixing up a tonic but they never actually tell you the ingredients besides the pink salt, but imply with things on the counter like ACV icewater, a sliced lemon, and then you click the link and it is a longer video that appears to have Oprah claiming she used the trick to lose weight...but by the end of this very long, probably AI generated video, it is really an ad for a supplement with berberine, resveratrol, and the pink salt.
So, I had a 'conversation' with my Chatgpt assistant on the merits of any of these ingredients. We all want to get and stay healthy, and, if you are like me, you don't want to waste money on supplements that don't work, or worse, are harmful. I am all about valid DIY remedies..the fact is modern medicine is actually based on them, but in most cases, they (drug companies) started trying to make it more profitable(to themselves) by creating synthetic versions that might reduce symptoms, but don't always cure, and sometimes make your long term health worse.
